The Taylor County Active-Duty Military, Veterans, Family, and Senior Resource Fair, planned for August 2026, will bring together local, state, and national organizations dedicated to supporting service members, veterans, their families, and seniors.

Hosted by GRIT’s Veteran & Senior Resources (GVSR) and primarily sponsored by Home Instead – Abilene, this collaborative event will connect attendees with essential services, educational workshops, and community programs that promote dignity, independence, and well-being.

The fair will feature resource booths, informative sessions, networking opportunities, and family-friendly activities, all designed to strengthen partnerships among service providers and enhance the quality of life for those who have served—and for our senior community across Taylor County.
