GRIT’s Veteran & Senior Resource Fair, planned for August 2026, will bring together local, state, and national organizations dedicated to supporting service members, veterans, their families, and seniors.

Hosted by GRIT’s Veteran & Senior Resources (GVSR) and sponsored by Home Instead – Abilene, this collaborative event will connect attendees with essential services, educational workshops, and community programs that promote dignity, independence, and well-being.

The fair will feature resource booths, informative sessions, networking opportunities, and family-friendly activities, all designed to strengthen partnerships among service providers and enhance the quality of life for those who have served—and for our senior community across Taylor County.
