GRIT’s Veteran & Senior Resources (GVSR) is honored to recognize Home Instead – Abilene as our primary community sponsor and strategic partner in advancing our mission to enhance the quality of life for veterans, active-duty service members, their families, and seniors across the Big Country.

Home Instead – Abilene has demonstrated an enduring commitment to compassionate, person-centered care that aligns closely with GVSR’s core values of service, dignity, and community support. Through this partnership, we are able to expand access to essential resources, promote caregiver recognition and education, and foster stronger connections between public agencies, private organizations, and the individuals we serve.

Together, GVSR and Home Instead – Abilene are working to strengthen the network of care throughout Taylor County and beyond—most notably through collaborative initiatives such as the Taylor County Active-Duty Military, Veterans, Family, and Senior Resource Fair, as well as ongoing outreach and support programs that directly benefit those who have served and our aging population.
